Allergic to snooty designers, Tess founded Tess Leeds redesign to help real people with average budgets and messy kids (or pets) have a happy, beautiful home.

Tess drew her first floor plan in 5th grade and has been decorating and redecorating ever since. Ruby Shoes Redesign (the company's original name) began in 2008. It's mission? Provide an affordable design opportunity to those who crave style, comfort and function in their home but can't start from scratch.

Tess wants to help regular people create a vision. After your design lesson,  you'll know what to do and where to shop.

Tess' favorite clients are people who have never worked with a decorator before.

She especially enjoys the challenge of coming up with money-saving crafty ideas.  With years of teaching experience,  Tess show clients how to maximize their home's design potential and advises them on where they can save and what's worth saving for.

Money is very tight for me, but hiring Tess was a true investment in my home. It’s a gift that gives each time I walk in my door.

Redesign is different from traditional interior design as we don't sell you items, mark up prices or complete purchasing on your behalf. We don't push expensive furniture on you or convince you of a design that just doesn't feel like you.

We work closely with our clients to use some of what they already own or to create that new vision that really feels like them. We give you the plan and provide the design lessons. With your new confidence and some hand-holding along the way, you can make it happen.
